Devlog #2
Next update should be coming around soon, I've been cleaning up the code a bit because it was getting really messy and I REALLY needed to do so. Anyways, from no on, I'll try to post one to two devlogs a week, as for updates they'll come whenevr I feel like the current state of the game is stable enough for a release, but hopefully I can keep pushing small updates every week or so.
I've been working on a few ideas, starting with asteroids, which I believed would be a fun addition, sadly I realized 3D asteroids just didn't fit the visual style of the game at all so I gave up on that for now, but I'm thinking about maybe reusing some of the code I had IF I do implement them later on when I add some gameplay, I'll see. Also, a very much needed bookmark system is being worked on, it's not a huge addition but taking screenshots or writing seeds down was annoying, so I think this could be useful.
I've also been thinking about porting the project to godot, even though I enjoy learning with pygame, it feels like I'm rebuilding everything from scratch for some really simple changes, if I do, I'll most likely open source the latest version since it doesn't contain any real gameplay yet.
